ABOUT THE JOB
Galileo would not function without Summer Operations Interns. Their ability to switch focus from week to week, day to day, hour to hour and sometimes minute to minute is critical to the successful operation of camp. This role requires a positive, solution-oriented attitude, initiative, flexibility, and an exceptional service mentality. This role is seasonal Part Time, working Monday - Friday.
At Galileo Camps we value divergent thinkers who bring many different experiences and viewpoints to the table! Successful applicants start from a wide variety of backgrounds, including but not limited to: babysitting or nanny experience, tutoring, extra-curricular involvement, student government, and customer service.
In addition, research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the requirements, women and other underrepresented people tend to only apply when they match all criteria. Even if you don't necessarily meet every checkbox in the job description, but you think you have what it takes, we encourage you to apply.
COMPENSATION AND PERKS
Our camps operate between 7:30am and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Camp set up is typically Friday - Sunday, and requires one weekend of availability. Number of hours and start/finish time of each shift will vary by site, position and day.
You can find the anticipated dates of operation of each of our camps on our website.
